Corbin Feroleto, Ph.D.
Dr. Feroleto is a clinical neuropsychologist who is licensed to practice in the state of Georgia. Dr. Feroleto received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology & Behavioral Neuroscience from Georgia State University. She completed a predoctoral internship (residency) in Clinical Neuropsychology at the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and a postdoctoral fellowship with Drs. Judith and Robert Simmermon at Brookwood Hills Psychological Associates.
What is developmental neuropsychology?
Developmental neuropsychology is a professional specialty focused on learning and behavior in relationship to a child’s brain. A developmental neuropsychologist is a licensed psychologist with expertise and specific training in how learning and behavior are associated with the neurodevelopment of brain structures and systems. Early childhood is a critical period in development. Many different abilities and behaviors are rapidly developing, including a child’s cognitive, language, motor, social, emotional, behavioral, and emerging academic skills. If concerns arise that your child is not making age-appropriate progress in one or more of these domains, they may benefit from a developmental neuropsychological evaluation.The developmental neuropsychologist conducts the evaluation, interprets the results, and makes specific recommendations.
Services
Dr. Feroleto provides developmental neuropsychological assessment for school aged children who are at-risk of, or have, developmental disorders and/or medical conditions. Assessment provides a comprehensive picture of a child’s functioning that can be used to guide parents, teachers, therapists, and other medical professionals in providing targeted intervention and accommodations.

In addition to private practice, Dr. Feroleto has been a school consultant, a guest speaker addressing parents and teachers on topics such as anxiety, learning disorder, ADHD and executive functioning in the classroom, and performed admissions evaluations for private schools. Dr. Feroleto’s research interests have included the use of functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) technology to examine normal children’s development as well as the neural correlates of neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD.
