Dr. Jennifer Foster is a licensed psychologist in Georgia and Florida and has been in practice for fifteen years.
Dr. Foster earned a Bachelor’s degree at The University of Georgia, received a master’s degree in psychology at Georgia State University and was the first student to earn a joint doctoral degree in both clinical and community psychology at Georgia State University. She completed an internship and fellowship at The University of Miami Mailman Center for Child Development.
In 2019, Dr. Feroleto and Dr. Foster established The Atlanta Psychology Group, committed to providing compassionate, expert care to children and families.
Dr. Foster primarily focuses on evaluation of developmental learning disabilities such as dyslexia, ADHD, processing issues, and behavioral/social issues in children and adolescents. She prefers to collaborate with teachers and parents to develop and implement treatment plans that will maximize a child’s academic and social success. Dr. Foster also sees a small number of families for consultation on issues related to behavior management, parenting, and school consultations.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Foster has been a lecturer at Georgia State University, consultant for foundations that focus on children and families, a staff school psychologist, child forensic evaluator, and a guest speaker at schools on a variety of topics (effective parenting, family stress management, executive functioning, etc.). Her research interests include child and adolescent development, child maltreatment, and after-school program development.
